Acyclovir (Zovirax) Side Effects for Shingles? - zovirax 15

I'm only 15 and shingles. I am treated on acyclovir (Zovirax), and I know that side effects are abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Is this normal because I do not feel sick, there are ways around this?
